The other option i was contemplating was g adventures without the hike as it looked.
We felt safe walking everywhere.
I will be taking the affordable peru and amazon river cruise in november.

It was their 10 day affordable peru plan b hotels.
In cusco i did a 2 hour bus tour and free walking tour which i thought were much better value than the options that day but i think all the other optionals were good value.
We did take the maras moray optional tour.
You can decide which optional excursions you want.
Just returned from a 10 day peru trip which i booked with gate 1 travel.
Thought the whole trip was amazing and great value for money.
I did not want my husband who doesn t travel well miss out on peru so the easiest thing seemed to be to allow gate one to handle the details.

Yes we did gate 1 to peru and are telling all our friends we had a terrific guide miguel.
I booked the plan b hotels since we won t be spending much time in the hotels and thought i d put the extra plan a cost towards excursions.
We like to venture on our own so we didn t take all the optional tours.
We saw a lot and the staff handled everything from luggage to special requests.
